Jayne Petersen joins Burger Planet's effort for heathier choices
GARY, INDIANA - Burger Planet hires fitness expert, Jayne Petersen, to aid in their ongoing campaign to offer healthy alternatives for customers who seek more wholesome food choices.
Petersen, the woman who helped Opal Windsome lose 75 pounds, is teaming up with Burger Planet to promote healthier lifestyles and assist in development of healthier food options.
"Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices," says Petersen. "The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson."
Jayne Petersen will be the center of the kick-off ceremony at Burger Planet-Time Square in New York on the 12th of May. Through June and July, Petersen will make appearances at Burger Planets and shopping malls around the country to provide nutritional packets and advice to consumers along with Corny the Clown.

Not forgetting those customers who helped make Burger Planet what it is today, Burger Planet will still offer all of its famous burgers, fries, and soda.
In the last year, Burger Planet has added several healthy choice options to their menu. Including, low-carb, white chicken breast sandwiches, selections of fruit, and a new line of gourmet salads.
Jayne Petersen will work with Burger Planet's chef to make sure new offerings are as healthy as possible. She is also developing a healthy adult meal option which will include an ankle weight.

I think you made a good work in your press release. I like the quotes you chose. Overall just check your dateline and the part when you wrote about the low-carb chicken. Also remember that you don't need to put a comma after the word "and" in AP style.
ReplyDeleteYour press release sounds great and you do a good job of promoting a positive image for the company. Watch your commas on your lists. The paragraph about the new menu options, i think the second sentence stated with "Including...", but it makes an incomplete sentence. Try putting "options include" or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI like your headline and lead. You have everything newsworthy in there without a lot of excess fluff. I like how you added, not forgetting those customers that helped it be what it is today because it relates to both the new customers and old. Good work
